Ingersoll Programs
Ingersoll Gender Center has been serving the Transgender and Gender Variant communities in Seattle and the Northwest for over thirty years with a variety of programs and services including direct peer support groups, training, education and advocacy.
Ingersoll's core programming has always been peer-support by of and for the Trans community. Our philosophy and legacy has always been one of deep respect for the individual and respect for the autonomy and dignity of each person.
Ingersoll continues to foster these original values and is growing and thriving in the third decade of it's service. Ingersoll is, as it always has been, a volunteer, self-help organization. If you wish to serve your community and particularly if you have benefitted from the presence of Ingersoll in your time of need, join us in this vital program. The opportunity and the need are greater than ever. Ingersoll is enjoying a tremendous renaissance as a new generation of unprecidentedly proud and self confident trans and gender variant folk are emerging into the light of their own self awareness.
As our founder never tires of reminding us,
"The Time to be Happy is Now"
"The way to be happy is to make others so"
